Raymond A. Lang, 65 of Zanesville, died 5:10 AM, Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at The Oaks at Northpointe. He was born Sunday, June 24, 1956, in Zanesville, the son of William N.C. Lang and Laura J.(Caldwell) Lang-Balsey.
Ray had a very kind heart, he loved everyone and he made friends with everyone he met. He never met a stranger. Ray loved being outdoors, loved nature, wildlife and feeding the birds. Ray enjoyed playing Santa Clause annually during the holiday season.
Ray is survived by his mother: Jean Balsey; brothers and sisters: Rick (Michelle) Lang, Robin (Carl) Jones, Randy (Lisa) Lang, Renee’ (Kevin) Helser, Bill Lang and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Ray was preceded in death by one son: Raymond A. Lang, II and one brother: Rodney Lang.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral service will follow at noon with Philip Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
