Victor R. Duff

August 6, 1936 - March 25, 2022 (Age 85)

Victor R (Sonny) Duff, 85 of Nashport, Ohio passed away on March 25, 2022 who was born in Morgan County August 6, 1936.

Son of the late Victor R Duff Sr. and Dorothy (Lacy) Duff of Roseville, Ohio. Survived by four children; Tim (Cathy) Duff, Cindy Sowards, Dave (Beth) Duff all of Zanesville and Melissa (Mike) Warner of Nashport, Ohio: nine grandchildren; Laura (Andy) Clutter, Elizabeth (Marvin) Phillips, John, Justin and Crystal Sowards, David Duff, Wade (Sarah) Warner, Cale Warner, Macie (Cole) Lapp: nine great grandchildren: Two sisters; Karen Burley and Ellen Hinkle: many nieces and nephews and best friend Janet (Neff) Sowers.

Preceded in Death by his parents, his beloved wife Nina Novaria Duff on March 14, 2006, daughter Tina Marie Duff, granddaughter Sarah Duff and Suzanne Grosshart and Sisters Naomi Jean Smith and Clara Bugglin.

Member of the North Terrance Church of Christ and has attended the Meadow View Church of Christ and Perryton Church of Christ.

Victor played basketball and football at Roseville High School and graduated in 1954.

Back in the 1960’s he coached South Rebels Biddy League Football and Y City Little League Baseball for Grieners Dairy and involved with the Babe Ruth. He loved hunting and fishing. He belonged to the Big Buck Club of Ohio and member of the NRA.

Victor was a tile setter for 40 years in homes and businesses in the area. And a member of the Brick Layer and Tile Setters Union Local 55 in Columbus, Ohio.

Victor loved spending time with grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Saint Jude’s Research at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Calling hours will be from 11-2pm on March 29, 2022 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Services will follow in The Snouffer Chapel at 2pm with Minister Bill Meaige officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
